Chopin: Desire for Love
*Chopin: Desire for Love* is a moving biographical film directed by Jerzy Antczak that portrays the life of Frédéric Chopin through his great love for George Sand and the dramatic choices of an artist torn between passion and his art. Piotr Adamczyk stars as the composer, delivering a compelling portrait of the Romantic genius, whose music serves as an emotional commentary on his life’s journey. The film is further enriched by the presence of Jadwiga Barańska—a collaborator on many of Antczak’s acclaimed works—whose artistic sensitivity and experience lend the project exceptional depth and cinematic elegance.
