First Sounds
Music Appreciation Classes for the Youngest
We invite the youngest children and their guardians to intimate music appreciation classes at the Fryderyk Chopin Birthplace in Żelazowa Wola.
"First Sounds" is a series of sessions for children aged 0 to 3, designed to encourage their first, natural contact with music. Through singing, movement, and play, children safely and freely discover the world of sounds, rhythm, and melody.
Classes are conducted without rushing or pressure—with attention to each child's emotions, needs, and individual developmental pace.
It's a time of togetherness, closeness, and the joy of making music with a caregiver.
During the sessions:
• we listen to and imitate sounds,
• we sing simple songs and lullabies,
• we move to the rhythm of the music,
• we learn about our first instruments,
• we strengthen bonds and build positive associations with music.
Classes are held in small groups, fostering a sense of safety and comfort for both children and adults.
The intimate atmosphere and relaxed pace make it an ideal option for their first musical experiences.
"First Sounds" is an invitation to a shared, sensitive journey into the world of music.
Classes are conducted in Polish.
